I realize haven’t posted in a while. I will try to catch up with a few posts to let you know how Bruce and I have been and our activities.
On March 31 (Tuesday), I made a dent in the Bama Pro Mix dirt pile by shoveling it into two raised garden beds. I shoveled dirt into one of the short beds first and into one of the tall beds.

Bruce and I saw a newborn calf in our north neighbor’s field when walking to the mailbox.

A red-winged blackbird chased off a red-bellied woodpecker I was trying to take a picture of.

I also moved the sorrel to the north end of D1. I am turning D1 into a perineal bed. The angle of the phone makes it seem the bed is leaning. It isn’t.

We had a beautiful sunset. Notice how the contrails meet in the sunset.

Sometimes gardening has to be approached like eating an elephant. You just have to do it one bite at a time. You’ve made such remarkable progress even though that pile can feel somewhat overwhelming. Stay safe and keep smiling.

I want everything to be done, but we have to take it one step at a time to get there. Bruce assures me that we have made a reportable progress in a year and a few months.

I noted the baby calf in your header and immediately thought “I love cows!” Nice photo of Mom and Baby.

Thank you. I enjoy seeing cows, it reminds me of my childhood. Nox was always excited to see or smell cows.
