November 24, 2025
Today (Monday, November 24), the doctor removed the bandages from my father-in-law’s skin graft. The doctor was pleased with the progress and said my father-in-law should be able to go home this week.
We are very hopeful that my FIL will be able to go home this week. This has been a very scary time for Bruce’s family.
Once Bruce’s dad is home, we will get on the schedule to help out. The three of us, Bruce, Nox, and I, will head to Jekyll Island to provide support. Nox makes an excellent therapy dog.

That is wonderful news for which to be thankful right before Thanksgiving!

Hooray for the good news! (I see that a happy ending for your FIL’s story is the pot of gold at the end of your rainbow! 🌈)

Definitely happy to get this good news. I am sure Nox exudes empathy and, for a piece of chicken, will exude even more.

Thank you! Nox does exude empathy and would exude more for bacon 🥓! She asked me to ask you when her bacon will arrive!
I really shouldn’t have told her your comment about sending her a care package of bacon 🥓!
