Yesterday, my father-in-law was transferred to a burn unit in Augusta, GA. We were told he would have an another surgery this morning.
The surgery didn’t happen until this afternoon. They removed more dead skin. My father-in-law now has a constant flush drain installed to try to remove and prevent the staph infection from spreading on his leg.
We are told his treatment will need to be taken one day at a time. They will perform additional surgeries as needed.
They seem to be managing his pain.
Any skin grafts done will have to wait until the infection stops spreading after they kill it.
Bruce is trying to stay positive, but the worry comes out.

😳. Oh my goodness, I’m sorry to hear about the complications. Murphy and I will add our prayers to yours! ❤️❤️🩹💕
