One of my radicchio plants bolted while I was gone. It makes beautiful flowers in the morning, so I’ve left it blooming. It is a fairly large plant.
I enjoyed watching this common eastern bumble bee buzz around and stop to pollinate the radicchio flowers.

I had never seen bolted radcchio before. I didn’t realize how much it looks like chickory. (I shouldn’t be surprised since they’re related.)

It is a leaf chicory according to Wikipedia. The flowers are so pretty.

Lettuce flowers are pretty, but not as showy as this radicchio’s flowers.

Most of Florida is too hot to grow radicchio. It is a type of leaf chicory.
