On June 10 (Monday), Bruce used his electric pole saw to cut branches from pine tree three. It was a lot of work. I helped by dragging branches out of the way. We made a lot of progress in breaking the tree down.
A storm was coming, so we started heading inside.
After the rain, we went back to the back pasture to see our work and to pick blueberries and blackberries.
We ended the day with a gorgeous sunset, with the ground lit by the fireflies flashing across the front yard.

My husband said, “Look at all that land.” Reminds me of where I grew up in the Catskills surrounded by Pines.

Bruce had ideas of more land, but I knew it would be more work than we wanted, 5 acres is enough!

I agree. I think 1/2 is enough. I grew up with 14 acres. Different times.
