Yesterday, early afternoon, Bruce arrived at Jekyll Island, Georgia.
I checked on Bruce with Life360 as he rode from Bushnell, Florida to Jekyll Island, Georgia. When Bruce stopped for gas, I would get an alert letting me know he had completed a trip and how many miles. I would watch as he headed out.
I received a text from him when he was at Exit 29 off of I-95. He had stopped to get gas and was about to head to the causeway to Jekyll. The Life360 app showed him riding and I could see him cross the causeway onto Jekyll.
When he arrived at his dad’s, no one was out in the main part of the house. The cars were there, so he thought his sister was walking her dog and his dad was sleeping.
That turned out to be half right. His dad was sleeping, but his sister and her dog were in the Florida room.
She didn’t hear him come in.
I do hope my father-in-law gets his mobility back soon. It has to be frustrating for him. He was always an active person.

Sending thoughts and prayers for Bruce and his dad.

How good of Bruce to take care of his dad! You get kudos for helping make it all possible.

Bruce said, “There isn’t anything you can’t handle here and Dad needs help.” I agreed that it would be good to go help his dad.

Your agreement is generous. Not everyone would be so kind.

It never occurred to me not to agree.
