Figured Out How to Put Together Bruce’s Computer Desk

Yesterday, Bruce’s $50 computer desk arrived. He started to put it together while I was at the RV doing laundry.

He figured out he had put something together wrong on the desk, so he decided to leave it and go hang out with me at the RV.

Today, we went to the RV and I started a load of laundry. We went to an estate sale to look at bedroom furniture. We also stopped in at a consignment store to look at bedroom furniture.

We went back to the RV and I finished laundry. I packed up some additional items. Bruce packed up some of his things and his computers.

We stopped at Walmart on the way home to pickup shower curtain rings. (Yesterday, we went to Home Depot to pick up a shower curtain rodand a shower curtain. We didn’t get the rings.)

When we got back to the house, I put the shower curtain up. I don’t really care for the shower curtain, but it was the best looking one at Home Depot.

The shower curtain is a disappointment. I was ready to put in the beautiful Nautilus retractable shower door I had ordered. The shower walls are not plumb or straight, so the shower door cannot be installed right now.

Feeling brave, I went to Bruce’s office to see if I could determine where he went wrong in the desk assembly.

He did two things wrong, making it impossible to follow the instructions to put the desk together.

As I was working on the desk, he wondered into his office. Bruce jumped right in. He enjoyed doing the project with me since I could read the instructions and we could determine what was meant.

Together, we got the desk put together and usable.

After the desk was put together, we put the keyboard tray together.

Bruce finished plugging in his computers and the wiring does look a mess. He wants some wire/cord organizers.

Still, his computers are up and running!
