Poison Ivy Removal Set Up

Yesterday, I used the half barrel to hold open the large yard trash bag.

I put on blue jeans and a long sleeved shirt. Next, I added heavy duty kitchen gloves.

I pulled poison ivy for two hours. Bruce opened the gate for me and the door. I was able to get washed up.

When I first started pulling poison ivy, I was wearing a t-shirt and disposable gloves. The poison ivy managed to get on my right arm.

Ugh, Poison Ivy Rash

Iā€™ve got Tecnu products order through Amazon and they are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Tecnu is amazing at taking care of the poison ivy rash.

Scheduled to arrive doesnā€™t seem to mean much in to UPS and FedEx in the Muscle Shoals area. My desk and bed frame that were scheduled for delivery on Monday and even were shown out for delivery, never made it. Here it is Wednesday, and we still havenā€™t received them. They are still out for delivery. I just wonder where the delivery driver has been driving around and stopping.

  2. Yes; the USPost Office isn’t any better! My ballot last fall took over two weeks to get from Vermont to South Carolina, arriving the day before I was to leave there. I didn’t check to see if it made it to the town hall in time; it only had 10 days, which in the old days would have been plenty! Now that we are supposed to be able to track deliveries, things have only gotten worse. And then there was the FedEx driver who clipped stock certificates to a tree at the bottom of my long and winding driveway….

    1. Our stuff is Madison, AL about 55 miles away. I think they must be waiting until they have a full load coming out this way. Or else the driver stops at a bar for lunch. Bruce suggested he might have a mistress.
