Current News – Hit and Run in Walmart Parking Lot

It is too hot for me to ride on the motorcycle in full gear and I won’t ride any other way.

Bruce needed a white dress shirt to go with his black suit so he can attend the funeral of his aunt. We decided to look at Bealls first. Since Bealls is right next to Walmart, Bruce parked out of the way by the garden center and auto repair at Walmart.

Bealls didn’t have any dress shirts, so we decided to check out Walmart. Bruce found a dress shirt, paid for it and we headed back to the truck.

As we walked up to the truck, I noticed this.

What the Heck!!!!!

Bruce didn’t even see it as he walked up to the truck. I was shocked and pointed it out to him.

We reported it to the police and have a case number. The policeman told us to let the insurance know we had a hit and run in a private parking lot.

Ugh! Just after getting the truck back from the hail damage, this happens.

The truck isn’t dented and it looks it is just paint transfer.

  5. How dreadful – I always find “car parks” quite dangerous in England and have had several bumps in them.

    People drive too fast or do not watch what they are doing when they reverse.

    After all you repairs to date this is awful.

    Hope you get it all sorted soon.

    1. Thank you! I’ve had other bumps and dings from parking lots in the past. People do drive too fast or watch what they are doing. Some stores just seem to attract people in a hurry. This just seems extra annoying after having our truck in the shop for 8 weeks to get it fixed and looking beautiful.
