The Berman Museum of World History in Anniston, Alabama

May 30, 2024

After our tour of the Anniston Natural History Museum, we walked through the gardens to the Berman Museum of World History.

The collection is mostly from a husband and wife team who enjoyed collecting artifacts from around the world. The collections are beautifully displayed with information about each item.

There was a lot of artifacts related to wars, a room full of cowboy sculptures by James Earle Frasure, and artifacts from various countries in Asia.

Since Mr. and Mrs. Berman were spies in WW II in North Africa, they collected items related to spying. The room devoted to spy tools was fascinating.

We enjoyed this museum and if in the area, you should stop in and see both the Anniston Museum of Natural History and the Berman Museum of World History.

We didn’t have time to walk on the trails in the park surrounding the museums. You could make a day of visiting the museums, gardens and parks.
