Happy New Year!

Wow, it is going to take a bit to get used to typing 2024. Last year went by so fast!

Last night we rang in the new year at the communal fire pit with several other campers.

It was a bit chilly, down in the low 60’s F at the start of the evening and it dropped down into the low 50’s F by midnight.

The fire was lovely to watch, as we swapped stories of our camping adventures and places we’ve been.

We counted down to midnight, yelled happy new year, hugged each other and significant others exchanged kisses.

The party broke up afterwards, with everyone wishing each other safe travels in the upcoming year.

  8. That sounds lovely. For New Year’s Eve we were in a hotel room watching our football team, the MN Vikings, lose horribly to the Green Bay Packers, and we went to bed early! Hope you have a great 2024.
