Stopping by Guntersville Dam in Alabama

On the way home from Ditto Landing, we stopped by Guntersville Dam.

At the dam site, there was a picnic pavilion, toilets, and a shaded concrete path with picnic tables along it.

We walked along the shaded path to where it ended by turning into steps leading to another parking lot.

We walked over to try and see more of the dam and locks.

We couldn’t get close or even sign up for tours. We didn’t have any crafts go through the locks either.

It was a very pretty area for someone who would like to have a picnic.
