RV Washing Machine Works!

May 18, 2021

Saturday, I thought I’d try to de-winterize the RV washing machine again. I verified that there was still bleach in the correct spots and that the dial was turned to the correct setting. With hope that things would go better this time, I turned on the machine and pressed the start button for two seconds.

I first thought it hadn’t worked, then I heard a thunk as the washing machine door locked. The door locked symbol started glowing in red. The drum stared moving and I heard water rushing in. The drum started rotating! The machine was successfully running.

It just took longer to start than I expected. I may have been confusing it by pressing the start button more than once before the machine started. 🤷‍♀️

On Sunday, I washed a load of laundry with no problems. I didn’t have any problems with the dryer.

I still need to try the dishwasher out. If we aren’t going to use it, I’d rather use that space for something else.

    1. Yes, it was disturbing to me also! We would’ve been so smelly that only Nox could’ve like the smell. We luckily had a backup plan – the washer and dryer at the house!
