Yesterday, as I took the dogs around the front yard, I discovered my mid-size purple and white Irises had started blooming, as well as my poppies.
Can I go out front? 
We both want out front!

That would be perfect. Maybe have some lunch at the Dushambe Tea House in Boulder too. Have you ever been there? it is so cool! It is made from hand crafted tiles.

Pretty! The irises and poppies have been blooming here too (btw, Happy Iris Day that fell on May 8th). The irises, especially, are very productive this year and I’ve had to prop up the stalks that carry several sets of blooms on them. They’ve never been this prolific before.

Heavy rain 2 days in a row pretty much wiped them out. But I will photograph the poppies when more come into bloom.
