Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the United States of America. This is a big day for us!

We have much to be thankful for as my father-in-law is heading home today! Bruce got a text from my sister-in-law saying they’ll discharge him in two hours.

    1. A belated Happy Thanksgiving to you! It was good news. Bruce’s dad made it home safely on Thanksgiving day.

      We were delighted to get to meet you in person and consider you dear friends as well.

      I was so busy cooking, I didn’t check my blog after the cooking began.

    1. Thank you! Bruce’s dad arrived home safe and sound yesterday. My sister-in-law drove him the 4 hours home. The drive was tough on my FIL and he was in a lot of pain. We are hoping sleeping in his own bed will help.

      I hope your Thanksgiving went well and you got to see your loved ones.

      1. Just getting home makes things so much better. I was solo this T-Day. Well, except for Reiko. She had a Cesar turkey dinner and I polished off half a burrito with eggnog which seemed sort of festive. A lot of football was watched.

      2. It does. Being able to sleep in your own bed and not having beeps and nurses coming in all the time is a relief.

        If it had been a tamale instead of a burrito, I would say the entire meal was festive. Bruce wishes for the days he could drink eggnog without digestion problems.

        At least you had Reiko and the fake Roomba to keep you company.
