The Bear Painting Is Home

This post is out of order, but my father-in-law really wants to see his granddaughter’s painting.

Yesterday (September 17), I received a call from the frame shop. The frame shop had finished the framing job, and we could go pick up the painting of the bear by my daughter.

My daughter painted the bear in high school and gave it to Bruce for a birthday present. Bruce had it propped up on a bookcase in his old office for years. With the downsizing, he no longer has the bookcase, and he thought it would be nice to hang the picture on the wall. It needed to be framed to hang it up.

I really like how the frame works with the colors of the bear.

  1. Julia, Thanks so much for sending the picture of Helen’s painting – it’s really quite good!!  I can see why Bruce would want it in a conspicuous place in his office,  I hope you’ll find the time to send Helen a photo of it framed.  Did Helen continue her painting career? Love, Howard
