On Wednesday (September 10), I got a call from the picture frame shop. The “Lion Cubs” framing was completed. The shop was having trouble getting the frame stock we had picked for the painting of the bear.
We decided to go pick up the “Lion Cubs” and select a different frame for the bear painting by our daughter.
The former owner of the shop, loved the “Lion Cubs”. She had suggestions for places where I could sell my artwork on commission.

I am not sure where I’ll hang these yet.
I am sure they will look good wherever you put them. One of the things I did that I have really enjoyed is putting art in my kitchen. One does not necessarily expect it, and only one piece is what you might think of as kitchen art. A friend gave me a piece of art that was a bird on a tea cup, printed over a large dictionary page. All the other pieces are related in the sense of a color scheme or the overall theme. I am anxious to get back to producing some art–I’m no Julia with the drawing and sketching skills, but it is still fun to create.

I had art in my kitchen in my RV and at my house in Colorado. People would walk in and were stunned by “Autumn Wind.”

Julia, The “Lions Cubs” looks very nice in that frame – no wonder that the former owner thought well enough of your art to suggest your selling it! Could you take a close up picture of Helen’s picture? I’d enjoy seeing it. Love, Howard

Once we get Helen’s picture back from the framer’s, I’ll post a close up so you can see it.
