I had hoped to buy a sea glass ball from the shops in the Historic District on Jekyll Island. The shops didn’t have any sea glass balls that I wanted.
The walk underneath the live oaks was worth going to the Historic District.

The trees are wonderful on the Golden Isles of Georgia.

We have lots of live oaks here at the LBJ ranch. I had to look up a sea glass bulb. Were you looking for something specific? Or just not see any colors you liked? What were you planning to do with it? Just wondering. đŸ™‚

I was looking for a blue glass ball by the hot glass artist, Loretta Eby. Her glass floats are so beautiful.

You have great tastes! I just Googled her. I love stained glass and blown glass.

Her work is stunning. I’ve wanted one of her glass floats for years. I couldn’t get one while we were RVing, but now that I have space, I decided it was time to buy one of her glass floats. We bought three!

Awesome! You should do a post about the artist, what you’ve gotten, and why you like it so much. No pressure; just a suggestion. đŸ™‚

The store had some beautiful glass floats, but they weren’t what I wanted. I was looking for one to use as a decoration alongside the glass oil lamps.
