July 12, 2025
On July 1 (Tuesday), I checked the garden. I saw a Hackberry Emperor butterfly on the inside of one of the garden beds.

The okra plants had baby okra and beautiful flowers.

I walked to the north fence and picked blackberries. I saw this beautiful common buckeye butterfly on a blackberry.

I was delighted to see the daylilies on the north fence blooming. They are double-flowered.

I’ll move them from the fence sometime in the future. That is a project for future me!
I noticed the purple magnolia’s broken branch had died.

During the heat of the day, Bruce was looking for an indoor project. I suggested putting up the tennis ball in the garage so he’d have his stop for the truck set. This project took a bit of time, but it has made parking in the garage so much easier.

We did enjoy the sunset at the end of the day.

I enjoyed the butterfly, double day Lily, and truck stopper. You always have so many interesting things to share!
