What? It Got Down to 18 Degrees F Last Night!

When I woke up this morning at 7:30, I checked the temperature. It was only 21 degrees F, which surprised me. The predicted low was 20 degrees F.

It got down to 18 degrees F last night! While it is only two degrees colder than predicted, it sounds a lot colder since we went from the twenties to the teens.

We’ve currently got an eight mile an hour wind which makes the 21 degrees F feel like 18 degrees F. We are expected to be above freezing by 11:00 AM with a temperature of 33 degrees F.

The expected high today is 41 degrees F at 2:00 PM.

I am so glad we don’t have snow, just cold weather.

Yesterday, around sunset, Bruce got the recently purchased fob for the motorcycle to use with the garage door opener, working with the garage door opener. After he got the fob working, he wanted to install the recently purchased keypad to work with the garage door.

I was helping Bruce install the keypad entry to the garage at sunset. While I shivered in the cold handing Bruce tools and screws, I watched the sunset. The sunset was a lovely wash of oranges and yellows.

To stay warm, I wanted to move some. I walked a little ways out onto the driveway and noticed the moon and Venus framed between our trees.

The moon and Venus were spectacular last night at sunset. I excitedly mentioned it to Bruce and he said, “Oh yes, I was going to point them out to you.”

Bruce was pleased to get one more item marked off his list of things to do.

I was happy to get inside to the warmth!
