Bruce spent some time today figuring out the issue with the dryer wiring.
It turned out the wiring for the dryer outlet had been disconnected at the circuit breaker. It appears part of the heat pump/air conditioning system took over the circuit breaker for the dryer. A new circuit breaker for the dryer was never set up and connected.
Bruce happily worked with the electrical wiring and got the circuit breaker for the dryer in place and the wiring connected. He enjoys working with electrical systems, but dreads plumbing.
Once the dryer was up and running, he moved the washer and dryer to be closer to the walls.
I was very excited and told him so! He asked me if I was excited to do laundry and I said yes! I am not often excited to wash and dry clothes, but I am looking forward to doing a full load of laundry in my own house.
I’ve got the first load running in the washing machine right now.
Time has passed and I’ve got the first load of laundry in the dryer!
Bruce was very excited to cross out getting the dryer working on his to do list.
This means all the large appliances are installed and working!
