Hanging Up the Sailing Ship Mobile

I decided to use a hanging Command Strip to hang up the Danish Flensted Dinghy Regatta 5 mobile in my office/studio.

The sunlight was streaming in from my window. I was very pleased with the effect.

The effect didn’t last for long. Here is the mobile from the door.

We’ve had the mobile for many years; we bought it from the same store we purchased our Scandinavia furniture. It hung at the top of the stairs in our house in Golden, Colorado for at least ten years.

It came with us in the RV, but we never hung it up. I spent about 30 minutes getting the strings untangled to hang it up.

It is as delightful as I remembered and I am glad I hung it up.

I enjoy many of their mobiles and I am considering getting one or two of the following: the Olephant mobile, the Elephant mobile, the Elephant Party, the Feline mobile, the Circle Square, the Niels Bohr’s Atomic Model, Science Fiction, Drifting Clouds, Flying Swallows 5, etc. It is so hard to decide.
