I was picking up more rocks this afternoon, when I noticed several had fossils.

I was delighted to find more fossils and even a new type of fossils. The hole may be a fossilized worm hole (a trace fossil) and not a crinoid.
I have been moving rocks to our burn pile to get them out of the way of the mower.
Here is the completed fire ring. I’ll need to figure out where to put rocks. Maybe in the driveway pot holes?

Bruce has been rather busy cutting down privet bushes.
I feel you pain on those privets! No matter how much we cut them back, they just sprout up somewhere else! But I like the rocks around your burn pile!

Privets are such a pain. We got one section of our woods full of privets.

Our front yard, back yard, and entire hillside is full of them. At first, one thinks, how pretty and those little white flowers…and then, like cats, they take over the entire hill.

Oh, yes. My dad took a bulldozer and took them out of the fence rows.

I can hear Geordie and Toby whispering, “Make cairns out of those rocks!”.

I should figure out something fun or creative to do with the fossils. It seems likely you will find more.
