Nectar has been great to work with. When our bed frame got lost in Dallas, TX, the company shipped us a new bed frame. It was shipped on Monday, so it was here in three days.
The delivery person left it next to the garage. The box was beat up, so I opened it to see if the bed frame was damaged. It was fine.

The bed frame was heavy, 154 pounds. This meant it was a bear to move. I tied ropes to the corners and dragged it to the steps.

The steps were tricky, I grabbed Bruce’s oversized wrench and used it as a ramp. Once up the steps, I turned the box on its side and wrapped the rope around the box to keep the bed frame in it. I put towels on the floor to prevent any scratches.
I was able to get the bed frame inside and on to the towels. The towels slid across the floor easily, so pushing the bed frame to our bedroom wasn’t hard.
I looked for the instructions. I found them only after I had finished unboxing the bed frame.
I got it assembled and with the use of a box, I got the bed frame flipped over. I didn’t take any pictures of this process, but it was hard to maneuver since the bed frame was so heavy.
The mattress box had a code to scan for the unboxing instructions. They made it look so easy. It was not easy.
The mattress was rolled up in layers of plastic. I took one end and rolled the mattress to the head of the bed, then I pulled it back to the foot of the bed and rolled the mattress to the head. I repeated this several times.
Finally, I was to the bag protecting the mattress. I cut the bag and had to lift the mattress to remove the bag. The mattress started expanding right away.

Next, I unboxed the sleep set. Two pillows, a mattress pad and a sheet set. The sheets fit well, so I’ll be taking them back to the RV to wash.

I love this mattress and the massage feature. My back was sore from all the lifting and maneuvering of the bed frame and mattress, but the massage feature really helped.
We can now start sleeping at the house!
Hooray! I love that the head and foot of the pads/sheets are labeled. Smart.
Next, will you be making a new quilt for your comfy bed?

I loved that the head and foot are labeled! It sure made it easy to put on the pad/sheets. When I make my bed in the RV, I am always trying to figure out where the corner I have belongs.

Mark them with a Sharpie. It helps. 😊

You must be very strong! I’m glad you were able to get the bed in working order.

I really wanted to get the box inside and once inside, I thought, you’ve come this far, the towels make it easy to move the box. You can easily get it into the bedroom. Once I got it into the bedroom, I just wanted to see how hard it would be to put together. One thing led to another and I got invested in getting the bed together before Bruce gets home.

Step by step. Way to go! If I could reach you, I’d pat you on the back.

Thank you! It was a process and I had to do a lot of problem solving to move that box and bed frame safely. It was heavy!

haha kind of ironic that you had to use the features of the bed to counteract the effects of setting up the bed! Good for you to go ahead to get it set up on your own. I think I would have waited for my husband.

There were several times I thought I should wait for my husband, but then a solution other than brute force would come to me.
