Movers Scheduled

On October 2, I was staying at the RV in hopes of getting Nox’s medication from UPS while Bruce went to house to drop off items.

I looked at my list of things that need to be done. A big item jumped out at me, moving our stuff from storage in Colorado to Alabama.

I called a moving company that had good ratings and got the move scheduled for October 16.

Bruce is going to drive the truck to Colorado and be in Colorado on the 15th. He’ll pick up some items he doesn’t want movers to move. He is also going to close out the safe deposit box in Colorado.

I will get a rental car while Bruce is driving the thousand of miles to and from Colorado. One way it is 1,216 miles. Since Bruce won’t be towing, he’ll be able drive normal interstate speeds. When he tows the RV, he keeps to the posted truck speeds.

He’ll be having dinner with our good friends Jeanne (ajeanneinthekitchen.com) and her husband Larry on October 15th. Jeanne, thanks for inviting him to dinner! He loves your cooking!

I wish I could see Jeanne in person, but Bruce wants as much space in the truck as possible for items like china and stemware. If I go, Nox has to go and Nox takes up a surprisingly amount of space for a little dog.

Bruce will meet the movers on October 16 to let them into the storage units.

I really look forward to having my furniture and art. I also am looking forward to opening the boxes we packed. It will be like Christmas morning. 🙂
