Bruce wanted to give our property a name. Frog Hall was his suggestion, due to the tadpoles he discovered in a water bucket. Blackberry Hill was mine, since there are so many wild blackberries on our hill.
Bruce liked the Blackberry part of the name, but wanted something else besides Hill. I suggested Homestead to go with Blackberry and he liked it. So we agreed to call our new home Blackberry Homestead.
I thought you might enjoy these two pictures of tadpoles in a water bucket that Bruce took. You can see the reflection of the blackberry leaves in the water, with the tadpoles swimming in the water.

Bruce was super excited about the tadpoles. He has a great respect for toads and frogs. He is already talking about a pond!
