On September 10 (Tuesday), we drove the truck to the Wheeler dam locks viewing area after the final walkthrough of the house. Wheeler dam and Wheeler State Park aren’t very far from our new house.
There is a parking lot above the locks, with a picnic table and grassy area.
There is a stairway that takes you down much closer to the locks.
Sadly, no one used the locks, so we didn’t get to see them in use.
I did take a picture of the history sign.
We then headed back to the RV.
