Here are some pictures I’ve taken our walks in Tin Cup Park and at Dakota Ridge RV Park.

We see a lot of Brewer’s blackbirds in the Dakota Ridge RV Park. According to my Merlin Bird ID app, Brewer’s blackbirds are uncommon.
Yesterday was the first time we’ve seen magpies in the park. There were two of them. When we lived in Golden, we would see magpies visiting the bird feeder.
Interesting the different species geographically. I have never heard of ambush bugs (or assassin bugs) and certainly did not know that there was a one-time super hero named Ambush Bug!

It seems to me that you are gaining a lot of skill at identification of stuff seen, as you spend more time out in the wild. An advantage of the itinerant life!

I have always been interested in local wildlife. I remember my mother identifying plants and animals for me when I was a child. Mom was very knowledgeable. I am finding all sorts of other wildlife while we travel, so I am enjoying identifying it.
