On March 28, after Bruce finished making friends with a visiting cat, we walked around to the front of the Old Depot Museum.

We paid to tour the museum and got our Vicksburg Passports stamped after paying.
The museum has lots of exhibits of trains, planes, boats and ships models. They also had a model of the Vicksburg Civil War battlefield. Dave Benway built most of the models.
I am sharing my favorite or best pictures from the museum.

Many of my pictures didn’t turn out at all due to the reflective glass.
I loved watching the model trains run. It was great fun.
After looking around the gift shop, we started heading back towards the motorcycle. On the way, we decided to stop in at the Levee Street Marketplace.
The Levee Street Marketplace has a covered front porch with rocking chairs. Out front, it had an old tractor with a picture of a cotton field behind it. Bruce posed for me.

The Levee Street Marketplace is divided up into many stalls. Different sellers have their wares set up and if you buy something, you take it to the front desk to pay. We weren’t allowed to take pictures of any of the handcrafted goods or art.
I didn’t think to get a picture of the front porch, but you can see part of the porch in the picture below taken before we walked down to the waterfront.

We continued along the waterfront back to the motorcycle and I took this picture of the Lower Mississippi River Museum.

It was getting late, so we decided to head straight home to take care of Nox. She was happy to see us and happy to take a walk.
It was such a fun day!
Love the picture of Bruce on the tractor. Ya’ll come on up on it, the hillside needs plowing. 😎

There were several model towns set up with their own model trains. The museum would turn on the trains as we approached the model towns. It was great fun to watch the trains zip around the tracks.
