Southwestern Succotash and Steak Salad

The food was wonderful and I loved how this salad was layered. Jeanne had all the ingredients for the salad out and she added what you told her to add. Larry was the grill master and grilled up some delicious steaks.

After supper we played a dice game (can’t remember the name) for a while.

We had such a great time hanging out with Jeanne and Larry. Juneau (their dog) was very sweet and wanted lots of loving. She didn’t understand why we didn’t allow her to play the game with us.

  2. Thank you for including the link to Jeanne’s post with the recipe – I was wondering what was frying there! The salad sounds like it would be great without the steak, for those of us who rarely (or never!) eat red meat.
