By the Creek at Star K Ranch Park

Yesterday, a friend came over to see the RV. He enjoyed seeing it and then we went to lunch at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. We hung out at the RV after lunch until our friend had to head home.

Bruce wanted to go for a hike after our friend left, so we went back to the Star K Ranch. I didn’t feel like hiking out on the main trails in the full sun in 88 degrees F, so we headed over to the Creekside Trail. The Creekside trail is mostly in the shade of cottonwoods. It feels several degrees cooler than the main trail.

We saw crawfish, fish, dragonflies, signs of beavers, and deer footprints.
