Last Saturday, Jeanne (from ajeanneinthekitchen.com) and her husband, Larry come to dinner. Jeanne was kind enough to give me a guest spot on her blog. Here’s a link to Jeanne’s post. https://ajeanneinthekitchen.com/2020/12/14/an-ethiopian-dinner/
Jeanne is such a talented photographer and an amazing cook! She has been kind enough to invite Bruce and me over to dinner a couple of times and the food was amazing!
Jeanne is trained chef, with lots of experience in the restaurant business. She is also known as “Queen of Leftovers” as she takes leftovers and turns them into another amazing meal or meals. She also says that she is a “saucy girl” and a “spicy girl” as she loves sauces and spice.

Wow, that was a spectacular spread! Excellent and very complimentary write up, too, which was thoroughly well-deserved. And a bonus collection of Julia + Hubby + Nox photos! And those cheeseburgers with apple pie – looked delicious! (j/k) But you know what? I think you missed a golden opportunity. At the start of the dinner you should have held Nox over the table and yelled “Nants ingonyama bagithi baba…” you know, the opening chant to Lion King.

I’ll have to remember that for next time!

What fabulous fun! I wish we lived near or knew people that like to eat adventurously. For me it’s like traveling the world without having to hop on a plane.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun and I enjoy letting my taste buds travel, since the rest of me can’t.
